Intro Planning a trip abroad? Weelsby View Pharmacy's Grimsby Travel Clinic provides expert, up-to-date travel health advice and a full range of travel vaccinations, including protection against malaria, yellow fever, hepatitis, typhoid, and more — so you can travel with confidence, wherever you're headed.

What to Expect Your visit starts with a travel health consultation, where our trained team reviews your destination, itinerary, activities, and medical history to work out exactly which vaccines and preventative treatments you need. We'll talk you through each vaccination, any relevant certificates (such as for yellow fever), and antimalarial options if you're travelling to a risk area, then administer any vaccines needed during your visit.

Who It's For Anyone travelling outside the UK to a destination with specific health risks — backpackers, holidaymakers, business travellers, and anyone visiting friends and family abroad. It's especially important if you're travelling to parts of Africa, Asia, South America, or the Middle East, or heading somewhere requiring proof of vaccination for entry.

How to Book Travel vaccines often need to be given several weeks before departure, so book as early as possible once you have your travel dates. Contact our Ladysmith Road or Scartho pharmacy by phone to arrange your travel health consultation.

How far in advance should I book my travel vaccinations?

Clarity Backed by Expertise

1

Ideally at least 4–6 weeks before you travel, as some vaccines need time to become fully effective or require more than one dose.

Do I need a yellow fever certificate for my destination?

2

Some countries require proof of yellow fever vaccination for entry. Our team can confirm what's needed for your specific destination during your consultation.

Are travel vaccinations available on the NHS?

3

Some travel vaccines are available free on the NHS, while others (including malaria prevention and certain travel-specific jabs) are private. We'll confirm which apply to your trip.

Can children get travel vaccinations at your clinic?

4

Yes, we can advise on and administer travel vaccines for children — just let us know ages when you book so we can plan appropriately.
